Subscription & Returns Policy

Last updated: 6th April 2026

This policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations, and returns work for Living Water Letters. By purchasing, you agree to the terms below.

These terms are written in alignment with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/3134/contents) and in alignment with general UK consumer law practices.

1. SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE

Living Water Letters is a recurring monthly postal subscription delivering a thoughtfully created physical letter and accompanying printed materials to subscribers through the post.

Each monthly letter may include items such as:

- a printed or written letter

- an art print or postcard

- scripture or encouragement cards

- Bible reading tracker

- other small, printed items

Contents and designs will vary from month to month.

2. CHANGES TO THE SUBSCRIPTION

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the subscription service where necessary, including adjustments to content, dispatch timing, or subscription pricing.

Subscribers will be notified of any significant changes where required.

3. BILLING & RENEWALS

Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis.

Payment is taken on the day you subscribe, and your subscription will automatically renew on the same date each month.

By joining Living Water Letters subscription, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method for each billing cycle.

4. CANCELLING YOUR SUBSCRIPTION

You may cancel your subscription at any time.

Please log into the customer portal to cancel your subscription. If you require help with this, please reach out to me.

To avoid being charged for the next cycle, you must cancel before your next billing date, and also before the 15th of the month when the next letter will be sent out.

If a payment has already been processed, that month's mailing will still be sent and you will be charged.

5. DISPATCH & DELIVERY

Living Water Letters are dispatched once per month on the 15th of the month (or as close to the 15th as possible, depending on when the 15th falls).

If you sign up to Living Water Letters Mail Subscription before the 15th of the month, you’ll receive that month’s letter.

If you sign up after the 15th, your first letter will arrive the following month.

Mail is sent using standard, non-tracked postal services.

Estimated delivery times:

UK: 2–5 working days

Europe: 5–10 working days

Rest of world: 7–21 working days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on postal services and customs.

If there is a significant delay in processing times for any reason, we will notify you via email.

6. CUSTOMS, DUTIES & IMPORT TAXES

For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, your order may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by your country.

These charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Living Water Letters has no control over these fees and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for further information.

7. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL AFTER DELIVERY

We hope you love your Living Water Letter. However, if you change your mind about your order once you have received it, you have the right to cancel your order under UK consumer law.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us via our Contact Page.

You must then return the items unused within 14 days of notifying us.

8. INSPECTION & USE OF ITEMS

Living Water Letters are presented as a sealed postal experience, with contents enclosed inside a folded letter and a sealed envelope.

You may inspect your delivery upon arrival. However, opening the sealed envelope and unfolding the inner letter constitutes use beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the goods.

We kindly ask that items are only opened if you intend to keep them.

We reserve the right to reduce or refuse a refund if items are returned in a condition indicating they have been opened and used beyond reasonable inspection.

9. RETURN CONDITIONS

To be eligible for a refund:

- items must be unused and in their original condition

- all contents must be included

- items must be returned within the required timeframe

You are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

10. REFUNDS

Once returned items are received and inspected, refunds will be issued within 14 days using the original payment method.

We may make a deduction from the refund if items show signs of use beyond reasonable inspection.

11. DAMAGED DELIVERIES

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and include photographs of the item and packaging where possible.

We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2015/15/contents).

Return postage will be covered where applicable.

12. LOST OR DELAYED MAIL

While we do everything possible to ensure safe delivery, once an order has been dispatched, delivery is handled by the postal service and outside of our control.

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe, please contact us so we can investigate. We will work with you in good faith to resolve genuine issues. Replacement items may be offered at our discretion.

Parcels may be considered lost after:

10 working days from dispatch (UK)

25 working days from dispatch (international)

If an item is confirmed lost in transit, we will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

13. ADDRESS RESPONSIBILITY

You are responsible for ensuring your shipping address is accurate and up to date.

We cannot be responsible for items delivered to an incorrect address provided at checkout. Please update your address details inside the customer portal.

14. THE NATURE OF SLOW MAIL

Part of the charm of Living Water Letters is the gentle surprise of receiving encouragement in your letterbox. Each item is carefully created by hand, printed, packed by hand, and sent through the postal system as physical mail.

Delivery times may vary, especially for international orders, and occasional postal delays may occur.
